Planning a trip to Montreal? I recently took a quick trip to Montreal as a weekend getaway from NYC. I stayed in the Vogue Hotel in Downtown Montreal, Part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, and documented my stay! Here is what you can expect:

Check In
When we arrived, the valet was waiting to take our car and walk us into the hotel under umbrellas. We were then escorted to the front desk for check-in and were shown to our room.
As Hilton Honors members, we received a surprise upgrade and were placed in a larger corner room.
Room
The room was spacious with an entryway for us to store our bags, large closets, a vanity area, and an enormous bathroom.
The bed was so comfortable, and the furniture and lighting felt new and updated. The large windows had a perfect view of the busy street and let in so much natural light. This is one of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. I really enjoyed the layout and thoughtful design.

Turndown at Night
Each night, we were offered a turndown service and were asked if there was anything we needed. This made the hotel feel very elegant, and we felt that the staff were always attentive and kind.
Waters
In addition to the water bottles we received during turndown service, we were also supplied with water at the check-in desk. This was a really nice touch. Many hotels don’t provide water, and it made it so much easier to not have to worry about tracking down something to drink before returning to the hotel for the night.
Location
I really enjoyed that this location was just a short walk from major shopping centers, entrances to the underground, and a metro station. I wish there was a super market location a bit closer, and the area felt a little bit safer at night.

Breakfast
We had a meal credit and decided to grab breakfast the morning of our checkout. Although we enjoyed our food, we were quite disappointed in the service we received. We were sat by the hostess, and then forgotten about for about 25 minutes. Although we kept attempting to flag someone down, we were brushed off until a manager made the rounds and we explained that no one had come. Once we placed our order, we got our food within a reasonable amount of time, but after we asked for the check, it took another 25 minutes to get our hands on it.

Mini-fridge
We were a bit disappointed that the mini fridge was full of items for purchase, and left little space for what we brought back to the room. In addition to leftovers, etc., it was hard to fit the water bottles we received and chill them.
In short, I would stay at the Hilton Vogue Hotel again; however, I would not recommend eating at the restaurant if you are someone used to prompt service or are in a hurry.
